Kirby lip balms and hairbands seeing release in Japan
Be beautiful just like Kirby
While the bulk of Kirby merch falls under plush dolls and figurines, there’s also some more interesting releases from time to time. Today brings us news on one such line of items, and it’s releasing very soon in Japan.
Beauty supply brand Lovisia has announced a collaboration with Nintendo and HAL for a series of Kirby-inspired lip balms and hairbands. These will be available for sale first at Kiddyland stores and Kirby Café locations starting August 13th, following by a wider release on August 20th, 2024. You’ll also be able to find the items on the Lovisia online shop Aug. 20th as well.
As you can see above, there are three different Kirby-themed lip balm cases, and three hairbands as well. The hairbands are a bit different, as there are two Kirby options and one with Waddle Dee instead of Kirby.
The lip balms are milk, peach, and mango flavored and are made from honey extract, matcha extract, and hyaluronic acid. Each one is priced at $6.75. As for the hairbands, they are priced at $9.75 each. If you’d like to see more pics of this merch line, you can find a gallery of photos here.
