Fan-made trailer imagines what Skull Kid and Tingle would be like in Smash Bros. Ultimate
Tick tock, Link...
Smash Bros. Ultimate has the most stacked roster in Smash history, bringing 89 fan favorites to the fighting game. That’s an insane amount of characters to pick from, but of course, not everyone got the franchise favorites they wanted. That’s where fans come in to make those wishes a pseudo-reality.
Smash Bros. Ultimate already has a really nice level of Legend of Zelda representation, but there could always be more. There’s so many iconic characters in the Zelda franchise, and there’s no doubt many of them would not just work well in Smash, but deserve a spot somewhere down the line. While we wait for Nintendo to give us a new Smash and potentially more Zelda characters, a fan trailer shows us what two new faces might be like.
The video above is a concept trailer from King Bob that imagines a world where Skull Kid and Tingle both join the Smash Bros. lineup. King Bob has gone above and beyond in this video, making it really feel like an official Nintendo announcement spot. A painstaking amount of care has gone into crafting this tribute, and it’s sure to make plenty of Zelda fans wish it were the real deal.
