Niantic making adjustments to Pokemon GO Gigantamax Battles

Following the Pokemon GO “GO Bigger” event with Gigantamax Pokemon, Niantic has announced that they’ll be implementing changes to future activities. You can see the breakdown of the changes in store below.

• Gigantamax Gengar Max Battles will still be challenging, but will be slightly reduced in difficulty compared to Gigantamax Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise Max Battles.
• Defeating Gigantamax Gengar will reward participating trainers 25k Stardust each.
• Gigantamax Gengar will be more easy to catch once you have defeated it in a Max Battle.

These changes are being made based on player feedback from the GO Bigger event. Hopefully these adjustments will make for a more enjoyable experience the next time out.
