Accident closes road in Tamworth – air ambulance in attendance

A TRAFFIC accident closed a road in Tamworth.
The air ambulance was in attendance. The incident happened at around 10.40am on Park Farm Road in Kettlebrook. All emergency services were at the scene. The incident was reported to involve one vehicle, a Ford KA. A passenger was said to have suffered ‘serious injuries’ and was airlifted to hospital. The road was closed in both directions.
