City’s roadworks put on hold to ease traffic during ‘big weekend’

Roadworks at a key Erdington arterial road are being suspended temporarily as Birmingham prepares for one of its busiest periods of the year.
Highways England is pausing roadworks at Gravelly Hill to help journeys in the city go smoothly during a busy few weeks and works will then remain on hold until the new year.
