THE electric tram network in the Black Country flourished for around 30 years, from the late 1890s to the early 1930s.
Having replaced the earlier steam trams they were themselves superseded by trolley and motor buses.These pictures show the Dudley, Stourbridge and District Electric Traction Company, which served routes from Dudley to Blackheath, Cradley Heath, Kingswinford, Kinver, Lye, Old Hill, Stourbridge and Wollaston.
