Tamworth to Commemorate Start of First World War with Guided Walk and Church Service

Tamworth will mark tomorrow’s 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War with a guided tour of the town centre.
The walk will be led by qualified Green Badge Guides, who will be revealing the part Tamworth played in the conflict. They will talk about the buildings, the stories, the heroes and the memorials to the more than 600 men of the borough who died in WW1.
