I AM writing in response to Cllr R Freer’s letter in last week’s Herald.

Cllr R Freer appears to not understand the importance of having Atherstone Town Council representatives for West Coast 250. Perhaps he needs reminding of the significance of West Coast 250′s influence on our town and railway station. In fact, because we have had Conservative councillors representing Atherstone with West Coast 250, our station’s future has been secured with improvements…
